On December 4, 2019, DIS celebrated its 62nd foundation day. There was a mass to commemmorate the Immaculate Conception, the conception of Virgin Mary free from original sin by virtue of the merits of her son, Jesus. When the mass ended, it was finally time for us to celebrate the 62nd birthday of our school!

The Dominican Sisters with DIS Faculty and VIP Parents.

The VIP parents went on stage to congratulate and wish DIS a prospering year ahead with our school principal, Sr. Zenaida. Then all the DIS students and teachers sang “Happy Birthday” to the school as the VIP parents brought out a giant six-layered cake for the celebration!!! The sisters cut the cake together and blew the candles, wishing DIS a wonderful 62nd foundation day.
