We all love Christmas. Decorating the tree, wearing Christmas clothes, the atmosphere of joy, and excitement that there will be presents underneath the tree or in our stockings. But the best part of this holiday (for me) is all the delicious food and drinks we get to savour because it is finally this time of the year already. Because I am such a foodie and I’m sure some of you are too, I will list down some of the desserts that I think you guys will like or you can at least try. Remember, these foods should not be eaten too many times!
Stacked Cinnamon Roll Christmas Tree
This tasty treat is a necessity if you LOVE cinnamon rolls. And it doesn’t take long to make it, you can add food coloring to the icing if you want it to look colorful. Recipe here.
Sky-High Salted Caramel Chocolate Layer Cake
Although this cake might take a while to bake, it would definitely be worth it when it’s time to eat it. Recipe here.
Gingerbread Wreath
Do you like gingerbread cookies? If yes, I bet you eat them one by one, shaped like those sold at Ikea (the ones in a tin), but this is basically like a giant donut with gingerbread cookies on top of it. Recipe here.
Sugar Cookie Bars
The cream cheese in the cookie dough is mostly what makes it so delicious, and also creates the perfect texture for the cookie bars. Recipe here.
Angel Toffee Dessert
This is very simple to make, and is suggested to eat on a warm day. If you don’t like toffee, some people suggest replacing toffee with oreos! Recipe here.
Apple Pie
After the pies are finished, let them cool first before cutting them, and it won’t be running. This is a very classic and simple dessert that everyone loves! Recipe here.
Candy Cane Cake
This sweet cake can be made in a lot of ways. The recipe I provided is only one of them. You can add filings inside the cake for it to have more flavor. Recipe here.
Of course, there are way more mouth-watering treats to devour for this time of the year, but these are the top-notch dishes that you must try at least once in your life! Hope you enjoy your winter break and are ready to embrace the year 2021 with new goals and higher expectations for school!
