There were discounts on over 1,300 different kinds of books, toys, board games, DVDs, and stationery in the library for our DIS annual Book Fair on October 23, 2019. Each class around the school had a chance to attend the Book Fair during class time. Students in Lower School even visited during their break times! Everyone also received a raffle ticket on every $300NTD they spent. Additionally, students could reserve books that were not displayed. The librarians recommended going to the bookstore a week before to reserve the books you want. Then, you can get your book during the book fair. Did you know that the books you reserve will also get a discount? The annual Book Fair held by the librarians every year is a good opportunity for all students to buy books you want since it’s very rare in Taiwan. Furthermore, everything displayed in the book fair has a discount. As a result, if you want to buy a book before the book fair, why don’t you just wait for a few more weeks, and pay less? If you didn’t buy a book this year, remember to take the chance next time!
