Mainly because of the Coronavirus, most of us would’ve probably given up on fashion and how they look etc. Also, many people believe that “cool” or “trendy” means to look and wear the same clothes as celebrities or runway models. That is totally NOT true. We should all find our own hidden personal styles. With this, I would like to share some key types of clothing that are the secrets exposed by many people in the fashion industry.

Leather Blazers

This is classic. Leather blazers go well with almost any outfit that you wear. It gives you this clean, dandy, and alluring vibe all at once in a superior chemistry. It’s as if all of the very different elements in the periodic table come together to create something in complete harmony and ordinary. It goes well with clothes such as spaghetti dresses and jeans.

Pleated Skirts

Pleated skirts generally bring out this school vibe. It makes you look like the soft girl of the group. Pleated skirts are mostly made out of pastel colors. Pleated skirts first came from the woman’s sports attire for tennis. That’s why it also gives off this sporty vibe. They match with hoodies and other oversized t-shirts. Pleated skirts are also being remodeled like the skater skirts, which looks similar to a pleated skirt but more wider and the crease isn’t that emphasized.

Knee-High Boots

In all respects, knee-high boots were popular and were common worn throughout the 1900s. However, they weren’t really considered “trends” since many people wore it to perform their daily activity etc. Nowadays, its becoming more of a trend and your style of fashion. Knee-high boots are also preferred by most women because it helps change the proportion of their body. This boot helps the person wearing it to look like they have long legs. It also goes well with mini skirts and shorts which may be too “revealing” in a way.

’00s Bags

This trend has probably been experienced by the Millennials during their High School years. But I guess Bella Hadid revived the trend. These ’00s bags are basically these tiny baguette bags. They kind of look like a crescent moon flat pouch with a short strap. Most of the designs are popular in luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Coach, and Prada. This also goes well with pleated skirts following the cute, high school concept.

Trousers

To be honest, it’s no surprise that trousers are in the list. Like I bet after the Coronavirus pandemic started, everyone got themselves a pair of trousers or they already had one. Trousers are both vogue, stylish and comfy to wear at home. Although jeans are also very casual, everyone already knows that it isn’t an easy thing to wear jeans for the whole day at home. Trousers are a very good alternative. It can also give off some hippy vibe and a “girlfriend wearing boyfriend’s clothes” look. It also sometimes give off a more comfortable and social appearance, making it easier for people to reach out to you.

Overall, I guess the history of fashion keep repeating itself. Even during the time when Sailor Moon became popular for its fashion, many people thought their style of clothing was ugly and controversial. However, now pleated skirts and vests are everywhere to be seen. I hope reading from this article helped people to become more confident about themselves and guide some to develop their own style of fashion.
