A deadly and violent snowstorm has been sweeping through much of the United States since Christmas Eve this year. According to the latest news reports, this caused 60 victims and 27 of them are in New York State.

President Joe Biden authorized federal support on Monday since thousands of residents in Buffalo had no power in their houses.

The governor of New York, Kathy Hochul defined it as ‘the blizzard of the century’. The governor urged people to stay home and not to use their cars. Most victims died due to car accidents in bad weather.

This blizzard of a historic magnitude is canceling flights during one of the busiest times of the year! More than 15,000 flights have been canceled in the last few days. 2,600 flights have been canceled on Monday 12/26/2022! The frost has also affected the border of Mexico, where migrants are having difficulty finding shelter despite the cold temperatures.

Meanwhile, Buffalo is also facing a small risk of flooding as temperatures get higher due to its high level of snow right now.

This is the coldest winter storm ever in the US for nearly 40 years!
