Do you have any study snacks you like? Or do you have a habit of eating something before or during your study session? After all, we all have different habits during studying. Some might have special preferences like eating energy bars or a bag of chips during studying. This article will introduce you to some best study snacks for a scholar!

After a recent interview with some students in DIS on their preferences on study snacks, it can be concluded that most of them prefer to eat during studying since it won’t slow the pace in work. Did you know our body is most likely to accept food while burning calorie? We spend a maximum of eight hours daily at school. Imagine how many calories we burn everyday just by studying, an estimated 640 calories! That means our body is in a state of fatigue and hunger after finishing our studies in school. This is why we all crave for something to fill our stomachs when it’s break time!

Some recommended study snacks that have positive influences on our study are full-grained bars, vegetables, and legumes (the whole plant family). These snacks contain carbohydrate, which provides us the most fundamental energy source. Our body can maintain our concentration on studying by processing carbohydrates. The energy produced will also become a fuel for our brain. These healthy snacks are considered best for the human body.

According to data, the way we look at healthy snacks can be influenced by our learning environment, peers, parents. If you have a hard time adjusting to healthy snacks, then maybe you could try to change something in your daily routine that might become a “motive” towards your attitude on healthy snacks.
